mind everyone, the names in japanese that are attached to the 'demons' is the term Youkai. Youkai does NOT mean demon in japanese but more in reference to spirit. i realize the importance of that when i tell people i want to grow up to be a demon. LOL. (i really want Sesshoumaru's powers...even if only for one day) but really, demon is a near condescending term in american culture and that is NOT what Sesshoumaru is or for that matter Naraku or any of them. (no matter how bad they are). they are mere spirits of the animals like Inu (dog) or Neko (cat).

also, it was not Yura who pretended to be Inuyasha's mother, that was the unmother. yura was the psychotic wench who was InuYasha and Kagome's first villain. i'm not sure if she was a youkai or oni...but she was evil. yes, yes, defiantly evil. and crazy. did i mention crazy?
