That is a preview. This book is copywrited so no stealing otherwise I'll get the law on you mwuahahaha. Tell me what you think?!
Prologue
The moon bathed the ground beneath me, in its gentle, unearthly light. Five figures moved across the mist-covered hillside, their shadows stretching across to twice their height. One figure wore a long, flowing, black cloak, hood up over his head. I guessed it was a man, because he had broad shoulders, from which the cloak hung from. The second figure was the tallest. She appeared to be about seventeen, but I had a feeling that she was as old as time. She was slim and her long blonde hair seemed to reflect the moons glow. She had tied it back in three long plaits. A baldric hung over the white clothes, the belt sword stretching from her left shoulder to the right of her waist, with her sword and scabbard nestling by her side. A slender gold chain held a gleaming emerald upon her chest, the green matching the colour of her draconian wings. The smallest person was a faery, her gossamer wings coloured like a rainbow. Upon her red top, three runes shined, over a mail dress and a pair of three-quarter length trousers. Her hair was short, brown and curly and her face was slightly chubby. She fluttered by a man, slightly shorter than the girls, with dark hair and dark eyes. He wore a black cloak that hid his black wings, and peasants’ clothes, except for a red sash across his chest and the hint of chain mail under his shirt. In his left hand he bore a staff, which came to a point just above a red stone, set atop the staff. The fourth person was a woman at the age of about thirty, but with the same feeling of age as the blonde girl. Her hair shined with silver thread interwoven with plaits among the brown, down to her mid-back. The silver matched the colour of her wings, which glowed in the moonlight. She bore armour and a cloak the same colour. A shield hung off her arm and a bow and quiver of arrows hung underneath her cloak, with a short sword hanging in its scabbard by her side with her hip pouch. I had a feeling I recognised them, but even though I searched my memory thoroughly, I could not remember who they were. That was because I hadn’t met them yet.
I gazed above me at the ageless sky, twinkling with far off diamonds of stars and distant planets. As I looked up into the moons beautiful face, I noticed she was getting smaller and the ground growing closer. I appeared to be sinking towards the small group of travellers. I landed just behind the small group, who had stopped suddenly when I was descending. I was surprised I was wearing the same silver armour as the brown haired Moke, but adorned a gold cape instead of a silver one.
“They are waiting for you,” I jumped as a voice came from my right side. A brown-cloaked figure stood beside me, its face shadowed in the hood of its cloak. Its cloak seemed not to be affected by the winds.
“Pardon me?” I replied.
“They are waiting for you. You are here to meet them, to find out your destiny,”
“My destiny? Who are you?”
“A stranger, but a friend. Go find out what your destiny is with the Fearsome Five. It is in the prophecy.”
“What prophecy?” I replied, getting uncomfortable talking to the cloaked stranger… but friend.
“You do not know the prophecy? No, of course, you wouldn’t. It is not heard of in Gejit. ‘The two Jewel Sisters of Green, one The Girl Queen, the other a born Summoner, will come together against a great evil and sacrifice their lives in order to save the universe’.” I turned and stared at the Fearsome Five.
“Summoner? The Girl Queen? Evil? What are you talking about?” The figure sighed.
“I can only answer one question so I shall answer your first. A Summoner is a person who can summon great beings of power. Retaw of water, Htrae of earth, Erif of fire and Ria of air. Your time will come,”
“My time will come? What do you mean? Hey!” But my effort was in vain, because as suddenly as it appeared, the cloaked figure had vanished.
“Hey, you’re here at last. Did you see any Beasts on the way?” I shook myself out of my stupor and turned to the tall, brown-haired woman who spoke to me.
“Er, what? Oh, erm, no. No Beasts.” She nodded and turned back to stare at the backs of her comrades. The man raised his arms and his voice in a summoning.
“Oh Great Goddess! Send us your Time Messenger!” He lowered his arms and stood stock-still. Everyone’s heads craned towards the star scattered sky so I did the same. The wind picked up and howled around us like a great pack of wolves. The stars merged suddenly and glowed so powerfully that it was painful to look directly at them. I could see a great figure forming in the middle of the great light. It grew bigger and bigger and pretty soon you could make out what it was. It took a graceful leap and landed just in front of us. I noticed the wind seemed now like a solid wall, surrounding us but not disturbing us.
“I am Talir. Time Messenger of Flora, The Great Goddess. I am here to take you to your chosen destinies. You have the right to change time so that the evil that grips the land now will not become. This also means the people you are now might change. Some of you might not even survive.” Talir towered over us in his great form. His body was that of a wolf but his fur was a bright golden colour. He seemed to carry the sun in every hair and his eyes were as bright as the stars. He had no pupils but was graceful and noble.
The words he spoke sunk into me like a sabre (metaphorically. They didn’t hurt, just shocking). My companions nodded, so I followed suit. Talir turned his back on us and opened his great mouth. Rows of sharp teeth lined the jaw, but the chilling howl that came from within the monstrous form blocked out everything else. I shivered as the soul chilling sound echoed around our cave of wind. A hole appeared in front of us in the wind wall. Big enough to let through the man, small enough to hold in the great forces it held.
“I shall go first,” spoke the voice of the tall man. He took a deep breath and strode towards the hole. In a blink of an eye he had vanished and was soon followed by the smaller man. The three women looked at each other, trying to mask their fear so the others did not fear either. The faery flew to me.
“Are you coming?” I nodded numbly, for my voice had frozen at the back of my throat, making me incapable of talking (Which was a first or so I’m told). The blonde girl ran into the portal first, closely followed by the armoured girl. The faery hovered uncertainly for a brief moment outside the portal then vanished like the rest of them. Talir turned to me and sat on his haunches.
“Go now,” his voice boomed, “I can not hold it open for long.” I walked towards the portal slowly, shivering, covered in moisture from the mist that clung to the wind walls. I stretched out a shaking hand towards the glowing portal, my fingertips just brushing the surface.
It was then I was awoken.
Chapter 1: - The Beginning
The night was calm and the guards had just changed shifts. A cool breeze was blowing through the castle grounds and was a relief to the sweating guards.
“Gods almighty, it’s hot!”
“Well at least we got the night shift. Imagine what its like at midday!”
“Yeah, I s’pose. I heard that Nali fainted.”
“That doesn’t surprise me. He’s girlier than Ylime!” Both guards laughed.
“Y’ got that right!”
The planet of Gejit had hardly any threat to it and no one on the planet posed a threat to the royal family so the guards just stood there and chatted. But little did they know, round the back of the castle two dark figures sneaked in the darkness. Suddenly one of the figures walked into a tree.
“Ow, son of a”
“Shut up. We can’t send Him the transmitter if we get caught.” Picking the leaves out of their hair, the second figure replied with an edge of snappiness to their voice.
“All right, all right. I still don’t see why we have to help kill them. I mean she is my best friend,”
“But you want her off the throne so you can be the leader, right?”
“Well yeah, but,” They started walking again, this time looking where they were going.
“Well then, shut up and keep that thing safe for god’s sake. Without that we’ll never rule the world.” The second figure stopped.
“We? I thought you said I can rule the world,” The first figure stopped, looked skywards and then turned around.
“Yes well I’m gonna be your royal advisor. You will be the looks of the kingdom I will be the brains,”
“What, you calling me stupid? I know a few things.”
“Like what?”
“Ummm, circle of life!” The tall dark figure stuffed his cloak into his mouth. The other, who had a bleeping, flashing object on its belt, planted its hands on its hips and looked at the bent over shape of its companion.
“And what exactly is so funny?”
“The-circle-of-life! Ah hahahahaha!”
“Shhh. Someone’s comin’,” A guard marched past and round the corner of the tower. The two figures froze until he went.
“Phew! I thought you said there were no guards round here?” complained the smaller of the two.
“Well maybe they bumped up security since the threat of Him came bigger,” The small figure crossed their arms and shifted their weight onto one hip.
“Hmmm, I think you just got it wrong but you’re too proud to admit it,”
“Oh shut up,” They crept across the lawn and stood in the middle of a vast patch of grass. The taller of the two bent down and felt the ground.
“Here. This will do, pass me the transmitter,” The small one took the transmitter off their belt and handed it to the crouched down figure. The crouched down one placed the long pole of the transmitter into the ground and flicked a switch. The bleeping stopped but the flashing light glowed from red to green.
“Loki to Donar, Loki to Donar. Come in Donar.” The transmitter cackled and a clear voice came out of it.
“Loud and clear Loki, what’s your position?”
“Shhh. Keep it down. We are in the castle gardens awaiting His command.” A different voice replied. It made the two figures cringe with fear.
“Well done Loki. This is Wotan. I command you to get into your ship and get off the planet. Wait in space until we get back in touch with you. We’ll take care of the royal family,” The two dark figures cowered slightly as the second voice laughed cruelly.
“HEY YOU THERE!” The two figures shot up their heads to see two guards running across the lawn.
“Oh Hel!” The tall figure ripped the transmitter out of the ground and raced across the lawn, heading to the woods, leaving behind their friend. The second figure ran too but towards the husbandry section and a secret passage by the large fountain of Demeter in the middle of the vegetables, vineyards and olive trees. Pushing a large stone olive bunch a secret doorway opened and the figure stepped into the large, lit up hallway, before turning round and pulling an empty torch bracket down to close the door. Not staying to watch it close, the figure ran down the hallway until it got to a brightly lit part of the hallway.
The figure was a girl roughly of the age thirteen. She had deep green eyes and silky, ebony hair and midnight blue wings. She wore dark blue, silk pyjamas and adorned a red sash that stretched from her left shoulder to the right side of her waist and stretched back around behind her, back to her left shoulder. In the middle, on both sides, it bore a silver emblem, a pair of wings crossed with a sword and scroll.
Sighing, she walked further into the tunnel until she got to the door to the main corridor. Pushing it open she popped her head round to see if there was anyone coming. Seeing no one she slipped out and pushed the bookcase covering the opening back into place. Running along the high ceilinged hallway she turned a few corners and stopped out side a tall golden door. Then she stood there and hovered nervously, wondering to tell the queen to go, get off the planet. Finally her guilty conscience took over and she knocked on the door. No answer. She pushed the door open and walked into the room. Silently shutting the huge gold door she looked around the massive gold room. She had seen it once before, when the queen was ill, but it still amazed her. The high walls were painted gold, like the doors, and the tall ceiling was sky blue. The large windows were open slightly, letting in a slight, cool breeze, and the break between the curtains let in the first rays of the rising sun, which reflected off the walls creating a soft, natural light. The giant four-poster bed was next to the window. Walking over to it, the girl pulled back one of the heavy gold curtains. There, lying with her golden hair partially covering her face was the queen. Her face was creased in a fearful frown and sweat had formed on her brow. She kicked out her legs and murmed something before settling down again, face still creased in fear. On the other side of the bed was the king. The girl could see his golden hair and one of his strong, green, dragon like wings was sticking out of the white linen blankets. She looked at the queen and shook her gently.
“Your majesty, your majesty. Wake up. We have to evacuate the castle,” The queen’s eyelids flickered and then shot open. For a brief moment she almost looked scared, but when she sat up she took on her serious, stern face. She tucked her hair behind her ears in one quick move and set her deep blue eyes on the person who woke her up.
“Marise get to the nearest pod and get out of here. I shall alert the others,” She pushed off the blanket and ran to the table beside the window. Her long, strappy nightgown was a light lilac colour and almost seemed to flow like water around the queen’s curvy frame in the slight breeze. A single shining emerald on a thin golden chain hung around her neck. Opening the draw she pulled out a lilac ribbon that matched her gown. She tied up her hair in a bun and then went over to the bed and sat down. Rolling over, she kicked the king, gently, on his shoulder. He shot up and swore loudly.
“What the hell is going on? Oh no, its time to leave, isn’t it.” The queen nodded gravely.
“Eitak, what are you going to do?” His light blue eyes held concern.
“Lienad, I have to contact the others to make sure they get out alright. Plus, I am the queen of this planet and I think I should die with it, like a captain goes down with his ship,” Eitak closed her eyes and rubbed the side of her temples, frowning even harder. Suddenly, she relaxed and rubbed her eyes before opening them.
“You should really get off the planet,”
“And leave all my innocent people to perish? No thank you. I will die with my people,”
“Eitak, I’m really sorry about this,” Eitak turned around to face Lienad just as he blew a fistful of golden dust into her face. She choked and then collapsed on the bed. Marise, who had been standing by the window quietly, gasped.
“What did you do?” Lienad looked up at her.
“I put her to sleep so I can carry her to a pod. You should get to a pod to.” Marise nodded and hurried out the room. Lienad got out the bed. His chest was bare, save a sapphire pendant that hung on a gold chain, but he wore long, grey, silk doubloons. He went round to Eitak, and gently lifted her up in his arms. He carried her out of the golden room and down the high ceilinged corridor. Left, right, right again. Lienad lost track of which way he came. He only instinct was to save his queen first and then himself. In the distance of the castle, he could hear pods jettisoning off into space. He hoped the others got Eitak’s warning and got to their nearest space pod.
Little did he know that there was a fleet of fighters waiting in the space around Gejit.
Finally he reached his destination. Through two, tall, metallic doors and into a large mechanical room full of flashing lights and bleeping machines. In front of him were three pod shoots. One of them was empty but the other two metallic eggs were still in their transparent shoots. Leinad placed the sleeping queen in one of them and strapped her in. He closed the door and watched as the pod filled up with sleeping gas, which then froze. A Perspex door came down over the opening of the shoot, which allowed someone to get to their pod, and the pod itself started to shake. Not waiting to see if it launched all right, Lienad got into his own pod and strapped himself in. He closed his door and waited for the gas to affect his body.
“I-hate-these-podssss…” Lienad’s head drooped onto his shoulder as the gas froze around him. The pod shook and the lower rockets kicked into gear. The pod shot through the shoot, up through the castle and out into the air. The boosters kicked in and the pod shot right up through the atmosphere, out into the vast openness of space where fifty space fighters were waiting for him.

Re: My Book!!
I got this far and that was it. No, your book is not 'copywrited'. Anybody reading it here could steal it if it suits them. However, nobody will. The audacity that you have to make accusations of your readers right off the bat makes me sick. I don't care if it's a joke, putting any kind of 'copyrighted!' or 'don't steal' comment on something like this is an insult either way.Goldenwolf wrote:This book is copywrited so no stealing otherwise I'll get the law on you mwuahahaha.

Re: My Book!!
only because last time i posted one of my stories someone stole it and used it as their own material, so naturally i am being careful!! It was just a joke, but if you choose to take it seriously thats up to you but dont have faith in other people on here, because 99% of them are really nice and i know they wont steal it but theres still that one %. you make me angry and upset by telling me off for a joking comment with out even knowing that someone on here has stolen my work before.
