When it comes to anime, us Canadians have one choice: a channel called "YTV". It has good stuff like Inuyasha, Witch Hunter Robin and Dragon Ball GT, but it still leaves wanting more...Sigh, we may not live in igloos like most of the world thinks, but we sure have a poor range of anime choices...

good lord! i TOTALLY AGREE!!! if u live in the vancouver area, go to Sakura Media to buy anime.

on YTV, they only show crap (not inuyasha or WHR though!!) why cant we have a variety?!? i hate pokemon, etc!! ;_;

REALLY!!! they taught us in schol that about 45% of canadians live in igloos.
In australia anime is scarce and rarely on free tv. we have pay tv so i can watch anime all the time.
but if i wont to buy anime i usually have to go to the city or order it.

yeah... we should, here as well, have a channel dedicated to anime... undubbed of course, (such a sad thing. dubbing anime, changing the names, and everything.) Id like to see that happening.

you think Canadians r screwed over trying finding anime in scotland....i have only managed to find 2 or 3 shops in the whole dam country, 1 being forbidden planet, in glasgow, which is actaully quite gd...but small o yeah and almost no anime channels, but sometimes u cn see the odd ep of zoids but thats about it...

i went to canada once... alot of ppl speaking french, the school im going to rite now is like five minutes away from the border, well i dont know much about the amount of anime canada get though srry about not having much, you could always find something online probably

well i live in canada too and yah but there's gundam seed and DB/Z too. but i go on a site to watch anime like RK .hack hellsing trigun and movies as well. and i buy anime DVD's...too but a lot of people on YTV have contacted them to add more anime... but they keep saying no -_-' sigh canada can suck sometimes....

Dudes, Canada has nothing. (they have some good stuff though like WHR-which I'm totally in love with...Amon...I love Amon!!- and Inu Yasha) but they mostly keep playing re-runs of other crappy stuff.

And you can't really find too many shops with anime (at least in Vancouver)

Austraia isn't doesn't have much anime.Its really only on one show on channel 10 called "chez tv"(in queensland).But thats only 2 or 3 programs and they never finish a series(they keep breaking it up over time).grrrrr.........all i want is anime where you can keep watching the same series at a time.
Huh i guess i'll have to start buying it.
