We may suffer together, but we all die alone

Post by Pennyroyal Tea »

Tonight to hell with everything else, we’ll drink hard we’ll drink to ourselves

I'm just posting this just to remind everyone that no matter who we are we all are human and we all have thoughts and crap in our head that we need to sort out and stuff. I originally posted this as a blog with the original title being the italicized font, but it was too long to fit in the topic so yeah. So basically just read and enjoy or not enjoy its up to you.

Its not that I don't have anything to say, its more-so that its still the same. I have so much figuring out to do, evolving, tearing down and building back up all because of life. Life is like a slow dance beautiful, something that you can get so cut up in sometimes that you don't even realize when the song has change, and once you have its too late to do much about it so you're left sitting there at everyone else.
You can do many things, you can sit out and watch as others dance on and leave you behind, you can work hard to find out what the dance is and try to get back in rhythm, you can dance to a dance you made up yourself, or you can quit the dance entirely and walk out into the dark halls. Eventually one by one, two by two, or three by three, we'll all stop dancing when we get that tap on our shoulder telling us that our time is up and we must rest. We go through the night dancing.... sometimes with friends, sometimes with lovers, and sometimes by ourselves. When its all over, it won't matter what songs we danced to, all we'll remember is how much we danced, how much fun we had, the laughs we shared, the tears we cried. We'll remember the important people who danced with us.... also in the back of our mind would be all the time we didn't dance, all the time we sat against the wall doing nothing but watching people dance, you'll regret wasting that time.

I'm speaking in metaphors of course so what I'm saying may be confusing to you, but it does make sense it just requires some thought, if ya don't understand just ask me and I'll explain it little by little.

Who are we? Well thats for you to decide, where do we come from? Thats for you to find out. Who am I? You're whoever you want to be, thats something nobody can ever change, they can never make you into somebody you aren't because you have control over you actions even when the choices aren't right there in front of your face for you to see. Its always there, somewhere hiding in the mist. Sometimes we must get lost before we can find ourselves, sometimes we're already lost and we don't know it. I guarantee you that you'll be put into a morally ambiguous situation sometime in your life. A situation where you'll want to do whats right, but you don't know what the right thing is. In these situations the right answer is any answer, and what to do is simply what you believe in most. You already know the answer deep down inside, its that little voice that speaks to you, that little voice that tells you things in the clearest voice you'll ever hear, that little voice inside that we ignore because we're scared of where its leading us. Everybody wants to be lead, but nobody wants to be lead.

All that I'll say right now, and what I'll wrap this up with is we must all evolve inside of ourselves to survive, we must adapt, and we must learn to change the environment around us in order to find that perfect dance step, to feel that perfect beat, to find the perfect partner we must take steps progressively to the things that we want in life because I can guarantee you that most of the time they're gonna take steps away from you, thats why you chase after dreams, because if you don't they'll leave you behind
Yeah, you were right about me, but can I get myself out from underneath this guilt that will crush me? in the choir, I saw our sad Messiah he was bored and tired of my laments
He said, "I died for you one time, but never again"

man popz wow. that was deep. i adore the metaphor with the dance. touching. i wonder how many dances i've sat out and just watched. and that last line reminds me of this quote i adore: "i'm sick of chasing after my dreams. i'm going to ask them where they're going and catch uo with them later."~i never seem to remember who said that. :p some guy that died. rest his soul. >.> all in all, good job. :) i dig it. 8) >p
