Good at math, but not at grammar, eh?

Re: Math Help Corner!
I love you people already; noticing the homework help section convinced me to make an account. Anyway, aside from my love for anime, I have a strong hatred for math. I need someone to help me out with multiplying fractions. I don't want you to do the work for me, but I'd really like it if you'd help me out some. >_<

Re: Math Help Corner!
Multiplying fractions:
1. Multiply the numerators (the number above the line)
2. multiply the denominators ( number below the line)
3. Simplify if needed.
EX. 2/3 x 3/4 = 6/12 which can be simplified to 1/2
did that help?

Oh, I guess I forgot to mention that I'm in Algebra II. >>; I can multiply normal fractions easily, but when you add variables, exponents, and NEGATIVE exponents, I fall over in a pile of mud.

Re: Math Help Corner!
lol, it's alright. It takes me a while (after the course) to figure out that kind of stuff. XD
The key is to just relax and reread things over and over.
(I do it all the time).
I'm also glad to hear that this forum wasn't such a bad idea.

Re: Math Help Corner!
Can you give me an example? i knew how to but I can't remember any examples. I love Algebra and I'm sure I can help you there and don't worry, I have a lot of experience teaching these sort of stuff and I've never failed to teach what they should learn (means, no one I've ever taught in a test ever failed it )Queen-Mion wrote:Oh, I guess I forgot to mention that I'm in Algebra II. >>; I can multiply normal fractions easily, but when you add variables, exponents, and NEGATIVE exponents, I fall over in a pile of mud.

I've read it so much now that I feel like my brain melted. I do better with other people around to help me. I'm like a person who learns by being shown everything and teachers explaining what they did for each step. I'm just used to it I guess ^^''
