Has anyone noticed how similar Yu Yu Hakusho and Bleach are?

Have you? I mean, it's starts with a guy who sees ghosts, and a guy who became a ghost. Both meet up with some sprit woman, both have to fight a demonic force, and help others. It's really uncanny how both of them are so similar...

Yes..as a matter of fact i did notice, but...if you have read the manga...you'll come to realize...that it completely goes in a different direction pretty soon.

I've read about 3 of the mangas from the beginning, yeah it does go in a different direction. I like those amazing powers, and sword, he gets, darn I can't remember his name.

Yeah, I definitely thought they were pretty similar in the beginning. I love them both though. So far I've loved ALL of Bleach yet of Yu Yu Hakusho (which I've seen all of) I only really get into the Dark Tournament and Chapter Black (or the Seven) sagas.
