GB games, not as reliable as they used to..

Post by divinephoenix »

I've got a Pokemon Sapphire before but since i used it, the game won't save anymore then I got a Harvest Moon: More friends of Mineral Town and after 3 or so months, same thing happened, the game won't save anymore and so happened with my cousin's and another GB game of my brothers. The thing is, the other games I got before those are still working properly. I was wondering if the same thing happens to others too.

Not me, all my Game Boy games from 12 years ago work perfectly.

I think she means GBA games, as she said Pokemon Sapphire XD

Not sure what that could be, maybe you've dropped your Gameboy or the games too much/hard or left them in the sun or your siblings have got to them. Many things that could've happened.

I let my siblings have it since it got broke and as I say, older games still work. I don't drop my Gameboy or I'll kill myself. But I guess there are still a lot that might've happened.

I have a lot of games and they all work fine. No problems whatsoever with either Pokemon Saphire or Ruby(sisters).

Well, if they were the older games, the original gameboy games, I'd say that the chip in the game wore out, because they're prone to with the older ones. I have Pokemon: Trading Card Game, and it won't save anymore. Fortunately, you can order new parts for the games and have them replaced.

But since this is the newer games, its possible it was just faulty wiring within teh game that expired the chip early. You could probably take it somewhere or call the manufacturer to have it replaced.
