ah ha! There is a suffix for classmates younger then you! I had always wondered about that. I knew about senpai but didn't know if it went the other way around...

Re: Words, phrases or anything else wanted? Ask here!
It's pretty much just a common ending for boys' names. So in a way, it could almost be indirectly be seen as boy. Like
'orochimaru' = 'snake boy'
'shikamaru' = 'deer boy'
'konohamaru' = 'leaf boy'
Things like that. The ending -suke is the same. Like, Sasuke, Kisuke, Sanosuke.
You can easily make names with -maru and -suke too. Like, Kurosuke and Shiromaru. Bam! 2 new names.
Oh yea! -ko is the one to use for girls! Like
Tokiko
Shoko
Kimiko
Kaneko
You could also use -hime. Like
Orihime
Fuyuhime
Yukihime
I'm not sure if there's any other suffixes for girls, but I think the 2 -suke and -maru are the only 2 for boys.
But, on a side note, the -ko for girls is almost always written with 子 the character for child, and -hime with 姫 the character for princess. I'm pretty sure -suke and -maru are usually written in kana.

There's Karin, whooping butt. lmao. Maru (丸) is also a common ending for Japanese ship names. There's a whole wiki deal explaining it. It means 'round, full, circle, etc.'
All I ever learned about name endings is:
~ko, ~e, ~mi = female endings
~rou, ~o/ou, ~ya = male endings
But come to think of it, yeah, ~suke is always on boys' names.
I can amuse myself on this subject by going here... selecting "word ending with pattern", checking "names", unchecking "words", and fire away!
Ooh. Looks like ~ki is a female ending. So is ~ha. So is ~ri.

Cool site dreams!
Indeed, I mentioned -hime because I love how it can be a name ending.

Please..Don't cry like that. I'm going to go mad. I don't want to see you.. I need to see you again.
I'm sick from it. Because, As soon as we have to say goodbye... I want to die. But, if I die..I will lose the thing I cherish most..and..that is you

Re: Words, phrases or anything else wanted? Ask here!
For the first one, instead of doing it in the usual lengthy way ('kimi o ai shiteru, shujin'), you can go ahead and use the term as a substitute for the person's name - oftentimes, speaking this way to someone makes the term understood as "you".
I love you, master.
Shujin o ai shite'ru.
主人を愛してる。
I will always stand beside you.
Itsudemo chikara ni naru yo.
いつでも力になるよ。
---------
"Watashi ai anata" would be incorrect. Japanese sentences are constructed [subject-object-verb], meaning it would have to be "I you love" to sound correct. But "ai" is the noun "love", while "ai suru" is the verb "to love". In addition, you would need to use the appropriate particles to construct a sentence from them, as well as the proper verb tense.
I guess "sensei" would be appropriate if the person being spoken to was training the speaker in some way, etc. "Shujin" is broader, like something a servent would say to their master, or a person might consider their host or landlord, etc. It can also mean "husband".

Decisions to decisions are made and not bought, but I thought this wouldn't hurt a lot. I guess not.
Re: Words, phrases or anything else wanted? Ask here!

Re: Words, phrases or anything else wanted? Ask here!
You can't translate things word-for-word between English and Japanese, though. It's great that you want to help, but be sure you know a bit about the language before helping others, or you could mislead them, okay? Between Geishaboy, Karin, and I, we've got a ton of threads right here in the Japanese forum that can get you started with really understanding grammar and so on.
I don't know what you're talking about in your second post. Does it somehow involve Japan? Or was it just something you read in a book written in English? We don't often (if ever) call a teacher "master" here in America, but it sounds like something that might be used in Europe (ie. the UK), since they use terms like "headmaster" for the leader of the school, etc.

Re: Words, phrases or anything else wanted? Ask here!
Dreams, here I come with a stupid question! XDDD What means 'Hatake'?
If someone says hatake, I know exactly what it is , but I don't know how it's called in portuguese. So if you told me what it's called in english, I think I can find a word in portuguese XDD
I want to know this word because when people ask me what I did in Japan, and I say I went to hatake, they don't understand what it is XDDD
日本はとても素晴らしかったですよ。でもとても暑かった!

ばんざい!^o^
For "hatake", I would say "crop field" in English - ie, cultivated land with vegetables planted on it.
日本の写真を取ったか?
あぁ、熱いね?どの場所を訪れたか?
