New person here, so sorry if I post this in the wrong place... ^_^;; However, I need a couple of suggestions for what to track down and watch next. My access to anime is limited to what I can find online, posted on websites (I would rather not download anything). I'm trying to find something that has one of those "holy snikes!" plots (where you freak out and you are just waiting for everyone else in the show to figure it out). There is a catch, though... I have a low humor tolerance level... It's practically at zero. I don't understand, I don't find it funny, and I usually think that it takes away from what's going on in the show.

Animes that I've liked that have fit (or had just enough of the humor I didn't cast them away as useless):

Obviously, I'm a romance fan (big time) so that would be a plus. Any suggestions?

so Clannad, and Air, and Kanon are excellent anime ^_^
