How good is Initial D?

I've only read alittle of the Initial D Manga but is it really good?

First stage is extremly entertaining, though it starts to lose some of it's entertainment as the graphics improve.

I agree. With driftkid. The first 4 books were great. then it started to change. I do like the fact that they use late model imports. its a hard series, cause where can it go? you can only race/drift down the same moutain so many times. It is worth watching and buying in my mind.

I'm actually watching it right now. I'm on the 8th episode in the First Stage. So far it's pretty good, but getting a bit repetitive. I love the music though.

Yeah the music in the japanese version is awesome compared to the english version(it sucks)

Honestly I didnt find it that entertaining, if you want to drift, buy a car....
