Wasn't it the Catholics wanted to destroy the Protestant rule of England by blowing up the House of Parliament where the current (Protestant) King James the I of England was (with his Parliament) but failed? lol.

It's called sectarianism. And for the love of Satan, V for Vendetta is a graphic novel/film. I am talking about history.

And "Protestants versus Catholics", is a big subject in European history. Which I thoroughly recommend the study of.
