Prince Of Persia

Post by Seras »

Prince Of Persia, I'm pretty sure that's a video game and not a computer game. They're making it into a movie. Can someone whose played the game tell me which is better when the movie comes out?

Game vs. Movie
Now that I've settled down a bit, got knowledge of the land and have a routine set up I can finally get back to doing what I wanna do most... Can someone tell me what that is?

okay, so... there's like, several PoP games.

The movie has nothing in common with them, for the most part. It wasn't that great.

Every PoP game > movie

Several!? Wow... I was only told about one.
What was the point of making a PoP movie if it's not based of a game? It sounds like fraud to me. What console and is it worth the money to buy?

the original is.... well, I'm not sure what that was for. But it's on the Sands of Time we can just combine that.

Sands of Time is for XBox, Gamecube, PS2, PC(Amazing game, probably in my top 3 of all time. And cheap now too!)
Warrior Within is ditto (It's good, but not as good)
same with The Two Thrones. (Better than WW, not as good as SoT)

And then there's Prince of Persia which is for 360, PS3, and PC. (Still not as good as SoT, and it's totally different but it's decent)

Now there's going to be a new one. The name escapes me now, but it'll be for 360, PS3, and PC. I haven't really read up on it yet, so I can't say all that much. I will be buying it though. Sucks hard, being part of a loyal fanbase.

The original was for the Gameboy, and you needed to beat it within an hour, and was genuinley challenging. Later on, it got ported on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) or, if your Japanese, the Super Famicom. This game was longer (2 hours to beat) and had a lot more levels to it. There was also a Prince Of Persia 2, but my knowledge on that is restricted to knowing about it's existence.

And, when it comes to game movies, 98% of the time, the game is better. The reverse is also true.

It was timed, one of several frustrating aspects of it.

Yeah. it was manditory to the story. It's what made the game a GENUINE good game, a stingent deadline WITH difficult puzzles. These days, gamers are spoon fed everything, and the whole trial and error "you HAVE to be smart to beat this" days are gone.
