He could have just forgot, but there was lots of stuff about GT that I kind of felt like it was done "hollow" don't get me wrong I love the Dragonball franchise, GT just had it's own feel.

Dragonball GT, there was blackstar dragonballs and Piccolo did not know about them even though he is fused with Kami.
