A: A lot

Q: 2.How many anime movies are there?
A: More than 10 less than a billion.

Q: 3.What was the first anime series EVER TO BE RELEASED? And what date/location?
A: I know there has to something older than Astro Boy.

Q: 3.What is the oldest anime movie?
A: Again, I'm sure there is a movie out there older than Jack and the Witch.

Q: 4.Who (author) has made the most GOOD anime series/movies etc?
A: This is a hard one to answer. Many might say it's Miyazaki, but it seems to me the works of Osamu Tezuka have been around longer.

Tough questions to answer but it is nice to see someone thinking that way and not assuming what is on TV is the be and end all of anime.

I'm not sure of the answer to many of those question. There is one that is older than Astro Boy that's for sure but I can't remember which one... Hm... That last question is a very "my opinion" question. If you were asking me, I'd probably say Yuu Watase and Miyazaki but that's only my opinion. XD

Well SerenityMoon, I've yet to see a Yoshiyuki Tomino anime that I didn't like (although I've only seen 13 out of all these listed), but he's all mecha.
