you know, I WOULD because they don't sell Gundam mangas in the Philippines, and I've never seen any of them. The Great One said he's seen, not read, SEEN four Gundam series, thereby implying that they were animated. And thegodofdeath, I plan on picking up the Last Outpost mangas when I go to the US in the summer. Although I don't like wing, the Last Outpost mangas look very good. I liked the design of the Aescapelous Gundam

belive me you wont be wasting your time, they are.. well better than wing (even though they sort of are wing) because theres less talking and messing about,
its not AS lively as seed destiny (at the start) but its up there with my favourites, and the hyrda gundam looks good but not as good as griepe.

But if you like pure hentai and action they arnt gonna be your cup of tea. (if you get my drift *wink*)
they are more subtle but still.....oh what the hell i'll just shut up and let you find out.

pluss on the topic of seed, seed destiny is my favorite seed, (probably because its the only seed series i've seen so far) its slowly over taking wing, witch to those of you who know me will no that it must be good for me to like it more than wing.
but i think the designs are alright but there seems to be alot of differnt designs, at first they were confusing to know all the names of every suit and zeon, but i'am still triying to remeber now. (i've got japanese one with subtitles)

but yes seed is a good anime and one of my favourite.

(any material i have displayed is under the influence of my opinon, so if any of the above is biasd it is due to my opinoin, and should not conflict with any your opinons)

That's good then, I always prefer character development and storylines over action (Possibly why I loved Turn A and disliked Seed). Sounds like I'm going to enjoy The Last Outpost.
I like Seed Destiny, and I'm not surprised that you are liking it better than Wing. the only people who will find fault in Seed Destiny are the older UC fans like me.
I disliked the rehashed mecha designs. I think that they no longer have any good ideas. The Impulse is a copy of the Double Zeta or the Victory Gundam, with its core fighter and top and bottom fighters. The Nu-Freedom is a rip off the Nu Gundam. The Psycho Gundam is a blatant rip off the Psycho Gundam (and Psycho Gundam Mk II), and if Stellar pilots it, then I'm more than justified in calling it a rip. I don't need to say what the Zaku Warrior and the Gouf Ignited rips off. I also saw pics of Seed Destiny Doms. You heard me, Doms. This is really irritating me, And it isn't wise. I would easily put Seed Destiny in my top 5 Gundam shows, but the designs really annoy me and hurt the show. I think that this will anger most UC fans (it only irritates me) because it shamelesly uses many beloved UC suits and twists them. And because they are using older designs, the supposedly 2nd generation mechs look older than the 1st generation ones. The Zaku Warrior look less advanced then the older Ginn.

But I can live with it because while parts of the storyline is taken from Zeta Gundam, it borrows from the 2nd best Gundam series made (in my opinion) and the character development is top notch, something that Seed was lacking in. They have also fixed the problems with the animations that Seed had, and had less clip recycling (except for the flashbacks). All these make up for the problems I have with the mecha.

Anyways, I think only few casual anime fans will find little fault with Seed Destiny. The only ones who will actively hate Seed are the diehard UC Fans.
(I consider myself a more moderate UC Fan, because I don't hate all the AUs)

hey i'am one of the older gundam fans to you know, i just don't quite share all the same thoughts as the rest of us, but i can see your point but i'am fine with it i cant faulter it, yet, but i know it does steel with the designs but think of it as reviving the good old suits.

reviving the good suits? well, I admit the Slash Zaku Phantom IS pretty sweet, especially with its backpack gatlings, and yeah, the Impulse's design doesn't bother me anymore. The Gouf Ignited needed a better paint job though, the orange is hideous. They still look less advanced then the older suits though, which makes it a bit weird. But Destroy Gundam will always suck. (By mistake I called it the Psycho Gundam in the original post)

i can see you point their but, but for what it is the show is quite good and kicks wing's ass! (surely you should know that)

but it can seem to much of an over kill but i dont see the point of the hentai (in the start/introduction)but shinn and stellar are the coolest characters though dont you think?

why dont you just buy those g-last outpost books off tokyopop.com or amazon.com then you wont have to wait untill summer when you go to the US?

I like Seed Destiny a LOT, I'm just stating the parts I don't like about it. I think the hentai isn't that big of a deal though, there is a little bit of hentai in most Gundams, I know that Victory, Zeta, Turn A, Seed each have a little bit of hentai, which I just try to overlook. After a while, you just forget about it. I like Shinn, at least he isn't a whiner like Kira, and he has a tragic past which helps to develop his character. As for Stellar... I like her, but... well, lets just say I've seen her beFour
