How many episodes are there of ai yori aoshi? and how many have been released in the united states?

Well, there are two series. Since it's a Pioneer/Geneon production, it's come to the US through that same label.

The first series is 24 episodes and has already been released in America.

The second series (Enishi) is 12 episodes. Release is in progress.
