Dog demon?

I was just thinking about how Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru and all them others don/t really look like dog demons! When I first watched Inuyasha I was like, is he a cat demon or something? I mean dogs don't have golden eyes! Were any of you guys mistaken by this?

I think Rumkio Takahasi chosen the main chara to be a dog demon because dogs are the bestest pets around.

I agree that they don't look like dogs. Inuyasha's ears look like a cat's ears.

But, then again, they are human form demons, look human.

If you ask me Sess's demon form looks more like a white wolf. oh well, all the dog demon characters still look cool!
