Jaken said Lord Sesshomaru might use her around to steal the Tetsusaiga again. But Rin likes Sesshomaru as a father figure. Why did Sesshomaru told Rin to stay way from the mountain? to protect her?
I think to protect her from Naraku's aura.

Let's see.. from what I remember seeing, I think Sesshoumaru is trying to protect her in some way. Now, he shows that he hates humans, yet, Rin is the only one who could go with him at all.

Though, Sesshoumaru wants to kill InuYasha, I don't think he would 'use' her to get the Tetsusaiga for himself.. Despite the fact he can't really use it anyway.... (with that one exception in the third movie)

But its more like a father-daughter relationship in my eyes...

my opinion is that sesshy is just taking care of rin as rin took care of him in his time of need. now the remainder of rin's life is her time of need and he feels he should do for her what she did for him.

Well.. it does look like he cares for her...because in the third movie ya know her AND Kagome were like about to die and Rin called out his name and he came and saved them^.^ Woot woot for Lord Fluffy!
