what is a mod and what dose 1 do ? my g/f is one is it like the force on the internet or something??????? please in lighten me....or i will feel the anger flow throw me

uh...o..k....mods/moderators are people who modorate or fix websites mainly forums of like inappropriate [censored] and can do some things normal users can't......at least that's what i think they do....

There are the administrators (admins), who can do nearly anything to the forums and it's members' accounts they want...
They can suspend you, ban you, mess with your profile, create, delete, & edit the over all board, the forums, the threads, and your posts...

& Then there are the moderators (mods)...
Moderators are able to delete, edit, & move threads and posts...
They are basically employed by the administrator/s, to patrol about looking for rule breakers to report, and using their mods' powers to clean up small messes, such as accidental double posts, and a thread created in the wrong forum, etc.
