Hi, I'm a young fan of Gundam.
Someone can tell me if "Mobile Suit Gundam" and "Mobil Suit Gundam 0079" are the same?

And after the first series there are three movies and "Mobil Suit Gundam Zeta", right?
These movies are part of the general anime plot?

Yes, Mobile Suit Gundam and Gundam 0079 are the same thing, but the Mobile Suit Gundam Trilogy is just a compilation of the original trilogy condensed into 3 movies, with newer animation and various characters and subplots cut out. Technically Zeta Gundam comes after Gundam 0079, but there are 3 other Standalone Gundam OVAs that take place in between Zeta and 0079, Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, Gundam: The 08th MS Team, and Gundam 0083: Stardust Memories. The complete timeline for the Universal Century would be
