Gundam Lost War Chronicle

Has any one else started reading this manga series? It's based in the U.C. era and it appears it's right at the point when the Feddies are issuing the GM-79[G] to the pilots. The main character Captian Matt Healy even gets a GM long before they issue him a RX-79[G].

The Zeon seems to be a mercenary The Forgien Leigon they call them, Ken Bederstadt, a very German sounding name perfect for a Zeon.

They've released LWC in english? nice. I imported the game the manga is based on a few years ago (And it is still (IMO) by far the best Gundam game on the PS2). I must make a note to pick this up when I go to the US (along with Ecole du CIel.)

Yes, the LWC is now in english. I just finished the first book and what a great story, capt. Healy was to protect a Big Tray class battleship in the second part and although his team survived the Zeon Bederstadt still took it out. He rammed a Do-Dai II into it, after jumping his Zaku off of it.

Now when is the game being brought over. This knid of thing could restart UC Gundam interest, I can always dream.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will be brought over, probably because of the suggested sexual themes in the cutscenes. It was also released in 2002 I believe, 4 years ago, which is quite a long time ago. Though I will admit that it still doesn't look too shabby when compared side by side with Gundam VS Zeta Gundam.

The sexual vut scenes aren't a problem, they'd probably drop them in the translation proccess anyways. Can't let kids see that stuff, although because it's U.C. era Gundam I wonder how many kids would play the game. Most are just Wing/Seed is so kewl, and pwned other Gundams.

Though maybe the long time fans are getting through to some.
