they should like what they want to like. for those who aren't as open minded don't have to like yaoi or yuri, can just go about their business. For those who are more open minded about stuff like that can go about their business and talk about it with others who like it, not with those that hate it. people have the right to tell other what they don't want other people to talk about in front of them.

yeah but read dranZerx13 post. he/she said not to talk about yaoi in front of you. if you started a DBZ thread and i said i didnt like dbz, (altho i do) would it be fair that just because i walked in to somthing i didnt like and tell you to stop talking of it rather then walking out. the coment was to the other speaker not you.

I can understand not liking something, but why make a public statement announcing it?
Logically, there are only two reasons one would do something like that;

A) to try and understand the other side of it, in order to gain a better appreciation for and/or modify their opinion of said subject, which doesn't appear to be the case in your situation, which leaves us with...

B) to actively get a negative reaction from people who <i>do</i> like what you're dissing, because you get some sort of perverse pleasure out of it...

Hmmmmm? :-s
