For some reason when quoting takes place the quote box doesn't show up in the post. This appears to be occuring in both my posts and other users' posts as well.

the coding is complete. its another glitch. i'm sure WM will have it fixed this site isnt home without glitches

Everything has some hitches at least. The word "perfect" may exist in the dictionary, but nothing yet in my eyes. It's only natural.

It's not a big thing that the quote is like that though. But yeah. We just gotta be patient.

Well, it doesn't show up when you quote with a username.

I recently updated to the latest version of phpBB, and apparently this is a known bug with it. I've implemented an unofficial fix until an official fix is released, but I don't think it will affect the existing quotes that aren't showing up right, only new quotes made from now on.

I download the file with the code changes and do them by hand.

Omg. I do it this way myself and this soo sucks (mainly when you've installed a bunch of hacks). That's the reason why it always takes me so long to update and I'm always like "ahh, [censored] -.-" when an update comes out.

That's because you chose to disable BBCode. Go to your profile control panel and re-enable BBCode, or uncheck the "Disable BBCode in this post" option every time you post.
