I need help translating this:

It's not nearly as complex as English, but as usual we find ways to screw it up.

I promise, this is the last name change. And don't you dare take one of my old names. I'll write you down if you do.

That's about as much as I could come up with too, OniRuroKen-san...I'll ask someone I know for the middle part and I'll come back to edit this.

Sheesh.

The ONE time I can actually access this thread with no problem, about 2 days have passed already.

This was given to me by a friend who knows more than I (thank you, Yume Sensei! > <) :

anata o yoku shitte iru = you seem familiar to me

So one would go about saying your sentence like this:

Konnichiwa! Anata o yoku shitte iru...anata no onamae wa (nan desu ka)...?

You don't have to say what's in the paranthesis. Or just like OniRuroKen-san said: "Anata wa...?" instead of the "anata no onamae wa" thingy.

...looking back on this easy thing, makes me feel stupid. :heh:

Anyways, sorry for the delay.

Hm...

One question: "Suikotsu" as in the name?

It's always a little hard in the roomaji but to me, it looks like "Suikotsu's two faces".

:|

It's actually probably not that. Since I'm guessing "suikotsu"'s a name, there should be some kind of particle in there.

If it is "Suikotsu's two faces", it would be "Suikotsu no futatsu no kao", being that the "no" after the "suikotsu" is a possession from the looks of it and to complete the sentence.

...God, counters are a killer...

If suikotsu is a name, then it turns into whats called a noun clause, so it would be "Two faced Suikotsu"
