Berserk question???

ok i just purchased berserk a bootleg copy. and i dont know if i got the full series. the one i got has Guts getting his arm chopped off by some demon and Griffon is having a good time with that chick, thats the last episode i got, then after the credits guts is show talking to the old blacksmith again for like 4 seconds. so was that the last episode, or is there more to the series

Yep. That is the last episode. If you go back and watch the first episode it will all make sense.

Haven't heard anything to that effect. But don't you think it would be difficult to revive the story line with Griffith and everyone gone? Perhpas Gatz fighting the demon Griffith has become .... but I don't think so.

they should just make 5 more episodes of Guts beating the crap out of Griffith, then have Guts kill that chick that got raped. i hated Griffith and that chick, thank god Guts was there ti do all teh ass kicking

Oh, I loved Griffith and Caska. They were such complex characters and the thing with Griffith ... well, that's one plot twist I didn't see coming. They made the show! Gatz/Gutts alone was very one-dimensional and that huge sword was ridiculous and defied the laws of physics.... but then most things do in Anime ... and that is why we love it. Berserk is a gritty, intelligent and unique. One of my favorites.
