hi

just need some suggestions , advices on this manga me and my friend are working our own. the manga is comedy, action.

It has do with spirits and cooking chefs. A kid in this small town heard about this cooking contest, and he wants to take part in it and uphold his family's reputation. If he wins he gets to enter this academy to further improve his cooking skills. The spirits play the role of assisting and sharing their skills with their chef masters. Well that’s sort of how the intro is like for our manga but we want to spice it up and make it unique from the previous cooking mangas, we thought of adding spirits would be pretty cool, like how shaman king is ... but we need to add more stuff to further improve our manga such as maybe some skills, or powers…

So if anyone can share their thoughts on any advice on how we can do so pls reply to this post

There are mangas about cooking? Interesting. You can spice it up by having the kid have an amazing power of making spices magically appear

How about getting a life or death cooking conest for whatever reason or the kid having to prove himself further in the academy for whatever reason

the kid could be looking for a difficult recipe that you can only try once and by joining the academy, he could improve his skills enough so that he has a chance of completing it. or he could have join the school in order to win a once in a century contest with the reward being the perfect spice. The reason why its only once a century is because it takes that long to make.

You gotta have a phyco in the story, or have a familiar anime charactor pop up somewhere, like Inuyasha, or Daisuke.

I don't think that there should be a familiar charactor but a phyco sounds fun..
