Comments about the anime Noir

anybody here seen the anime Noir? I saw it and thought it was a pretty good action and suspense anime. Anyone else wanna say something aboout it?

Noir is one of the most underrated animes I've seen. Most people don't really give it a fair chance because there is no blood (with the exception of some parts, but most people don't get far enough into the anime to see it), and it's kind of hard to get into the anime with the first few episodes.

I, however; thought that Noir was an amazing anime. I love the whole dark, mysterious, and even melancholy atmosphere that was with it. Almost all of the characters were really cool (the only exception is with Merielle, I didn't like her) and I thought it had a great storyline. In fact, one of my favorite anime characters of all time is in Noir (Kirika).

Don't know if you've seen the anime Gunslinger Girl but kirika is the same voice actress as Angelica from that series. If u nhaven't seen gunslinger Girl, I suggest u see it, it's almost better than Noir in action and suspense

Since you're about the only one I know that really likes Noir, I'd like to discuss more about the anime with you. Who were your favorite characters? What about your fav. episodes and what not?

My favorite episode would have to be the second to last one, i loved the parts where Kirika and Murielle started fighting and the part where Kirika and Chloe fought. I thought it was crazy how Kirika still kept that little knife and killed Chloe with it. For action, I have the Samurai X movies, the 3 Inuyasha movies and Gunslinger Girl. My collection is statrting to grow, I have over 52 DVDs worth of anime, 5 of them being boxed sets. I've found it's alot cheaper getting boxed sets than buying them seperately. so how much do you have of anime and what are ur favorite anime shows?

Well I have about 100 some DVDs of anime, but I really haven't bought much of it lately. I also collect metal cds and video games so my money can only go so far. Anyhow my favorite animes would be Full Metal Panic!, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu (I still have to see the second raid season though...), Rurouni Kenshin, Noir, and Golden Boy: Wandering Student. Anyhow, send me a pm if you want some anime recommendations.
