芸者男の子-san HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not nearly as complex as English, but as usual we find ways to screw it up.

You could have just PM'd me...

But anyway

matsu-rowanu kegai no tami

This was hard, as the word "rowanu" is not a Japanese word, it could be a name or a made up word though, and without being able to see the kanji fo it, I don't have much of an Idea, but, one way it could be interpreted is "People of the wounded end-rowanu"

itsushi

This is hard as well, as it is actually two words, so it can have a lot of different translations "itsu" normally means "When" but can also mean "lost, hidden", and shi has alot of meanings, from "city" to "death" to "four"

akahani

You are really not letting me off easy are you? It could mean either "Red Range" or "Double Red"

I have a feeling that they may all be made up word for use in this manga of yours

You do this sort of thing a lot better than I do. Although I've came to the same conclusion as you that it's just a new thing the author is introducing (aside from the fact that I couldn't translate a single thing except for the "akahashi" guess) back in the Fundamental thread.

And, uh, sorry. I forgot about the PM thing...I'm the one who told 'em to make another thread.

yo! it really helps me a lot you know....

from the defs you gave i can conclude or guess that those matsu-rowanu kegai no tami are those "extraordinaire humans somethin" or 'wounded end'

and itsushi, hmmm...those people might be lost or hidden in or from the city? or might be "unknown" to ordinary people.....juz a guess though...

that leaves the akahani prob.... #-o

oh yeah...the manga i was talking about was
Satoshi Shiki's Kami-Kaze

The kanji for "kegai no tami" is 化外の民; shortened from "matsurowanu" (まつろわぬ) that goes in front of it. I couldn't find any kanji for "matsurowanu", just hiragana. Now that the "kegai" part has kanji, you can see the 化 refers to change, transformation, or influence; 外 refers to outside. Perhaps it means they're a people of shape shifters or whatnot?

I couldn't find an exact explanation if "akahani" (赤埴) was a realm outside the human world, or it WAS the human world. There was also a page that said "akahani = human" 「あかはに=人間」. But needless to say, the word didn't show up a lot. The kanji I found means "red clay".

I couldn't find "itsushi" in relation to the manga at all. I wish I could see where you got that write up from, but the page link doesn't work. Maybe it was misspelled... meant to be "itsuji" maybe?

Well there you go

Also, you seem rather familiar, name and avatar, have you/do you post at the anipike forums? I did for a while, but the level of bitchy-ness and ignorance got to much for me, so I left

Indeed! I was excited to see you here, because I remember you signing up for the Anipike a while back, but then leaving...

I hope I wasn't a part of making you leave. I loved when you came on that board because we started conversing in Japanese in your intro thread, but then they deleted it. I think that's when I told Blue-Ghost off...

Anyway, quite off topic. But yes, that's me.
