Blech. I hate Jounouchi x Mai. A romantic relationship between them would never work. Jounouchi's a short-tempered, stubborn street punk while Mai's a tough as nails, catty woman. Their personalities would clash and they would constantly be at odds. Furthermore, Mai is someone who craves money and material possessions. The fact that Jounouchi's dirt poor and would be unable to provide her with such things would surely p*ss her off.

There's no question that the two of them would be unhappy together. They're better off pursuing romance with other people.
