Looking for a duel...

Hey everyone!

Im looking for someone to duel. I have MSNM, but I guess I can also duel on here, as long as I know ahead of time.

I use a Chaos/Control deck, but I do not follow the ban list. But dont worry, I dont use Chaos Emperor Dragon or Yata.

So, anyone wanna duel? I'm not a begginner, Im pretty good...not to be a braggart.

oh, and here are my feelings for the ban list, just so you all know

I've been playing the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG since it first started. It seemed like a new PKMN craze at the time, but I came to absolutely love the card game. I still do to this day. But things have happened to the game since so many years ago...

The Banned List. IMHO, this list has RUINED the game RUINED it. Some of you may say, "It's so jerks wont use cheap cards and instantly own you." I'll agree with you on this aspect, b/c some cards on that list DO deserve to broken/banned. Such cards as Yata-Garasu and Mirror Force and Fiber Jar I can agree with. But WTF is wrong with Witch of the Black Forest? And Butterfly Dagger-Elma, well, I dont see why its so bad. And Monster Reborn, Change of Heart, Painful Choice, Sinister Serpent (one of my fave cards) Tribe-Infecting Virus, and pretty much every other forbidden card, besides Fiber Jar, Yata-Garasu, and Mirror Force, I argue with.

Those cards are what made my game years ago. People have sought after those cards forever, and now we have Konami saying "NO NO NO, Those cards be restricted y'all!" Pisses me off. The cards that defined my enjoyment are now pretty much useless in an official tourney.

I highly support the TRADITIONAL AND CLASSIC FORMAT, the way the game USED to be played. I can tell you that when I duel, I follow the traditional format. Of course, at first, I always ask if my opponent minds that I use the traditional format. If they say yes, as in they dont like the fact that I use the traditional format, then I kindly and politely refrain from the duel. Just my way. I'll play anyone, anytime, with my deck following the traditional format. And, to be honest, if Konami realy wanted to stop the abuse of Yata-Garasu, they could have just NEVER MADE IT. Of course, I must say, they dont always know how a card will turn out. Furthermore, with the right cards, even those "unbanned," cards such as Yata can easily be destroyed. DD Designator anyone? Thats where skill comes in. But Konami had to make it fair for everyone. I dont hate Konami, I just think their opinion of the modern game is a little reckless.

i play Beatdown style, using traditional rules (for any banned cards, i can only have one of, for those who didnt know)

I agree with a lot of what you say about the ban list but i still think its necessary to stop ridiculous one turn kills. The last couple of booster sets seem to be heavily promoting Elemental Heroes and Cyber Dragon decks (Cyber Dragon has a cheap OTK but not a single restriction). Sometimes i think they just ban cards to sell the new ones.

Id like Magical Scientist back most of all just so i could play Sorcerer of Dark Magic in my spellcaster deck.

I couldnt duel you though as i only play advanced as the tourneys only use that format and it gives me more competition, plus i win tons of cards in it . Maybe one day i'll find the time to make a traditional deck but advanced really takes up all my duelling time right now.

I just lost a duel 2-1 to the number 2 ranked duellist in the country.

Oni, in you I see myself. You have formulated a complaint that fits mine word-for-word on my opinions towards the Advanced Format. (BTW, Mirror Force = Allowed). However, If I played Trad, Nobody in my region will duel me. They fear the Pot of Greed! Lol.

I will make a Trad deck, and me and you can duel sometime. Let's see what your made of!
