world of darkness

[WAKAI]

in a dark room
under a worn stone vase
inside a tattered aging envelope
a secret word, a single word
lies written in some blood-ink.
not blotted by the musky darkness
untouched for eaons
unchanged by the sands of time
unscathed by wars, by parties,
by arguments or laughter
by needy children's fingers
or by angry lover's quarrels

the secret word hides
beneath the world
hides silent until the world
with it's instant gratification plans
and total anhilation scenarios
absorbs itself into itself
and rolls belly up
suffucating by the weight of
it's mistakenly chosen path
of self-destruction,
drowning in the venom
of it's own deadly bite.

the day will come...
oh ... it will come...
when the word
so simple, so elegant
so obvious, yet forgotten
so powerful, but ignored...
when this word
and it's letters
and it's magic letters
will lift from upon the page
float thoughtfully up
from the bowels of mother
to the surface ... to free space

and captured by the tossing wind
of redeemable failure
rise high into the sky
to conjure a cloud for all to see.
for the silver-lined cloud
of kingdom come to speak
the word, to whisper the word
into every man's mind

painting the word across the sky
more beautfully than nature herself
paints the canvas of fall leaves
pouring the word into each man's heart
like a river must fill an ocean

and the word will
fill each man
to save the man
from his own hell
to free the man
from himself

to allow the man to trade
pestilence for eternity
unmittigating pain for delight
tortured existence for true life
distant hatred for kindred love

to show the man how to exchange
fear, for confident purpose
envy, for brotherly apportion
sloth, for sacred vigalance
deceit, for resounding truth

Wow... this is very different from your usual poems Wakai, but I still love it. The 'word', what could it be? When I read it, I can't help but think of religion. Or could it be something else? I'm afraid to admit, this may be even to deep for me! But I still quite enjoyed it.

i dont want to make another post so here is shoot poem

silence of the nigth, painfull silence
nocturnal..why my soul trembels this way?
I hear the flow of blood in my vains,
Inside there is a trapped violent storm.

my only company is darkness
eternal darkness,it hurts
hurts so much to know
that i'll die all alone.
