Thanks a bunch webmaster, I took a look on the moderator actions a bit and it looked kinda slow but I saw some things there atleast. It's just that I haven't seen much moderators online or posting so I thought that the activity of them was really really low.

This is actually a pretty good idea. I registered here last year and was away for about four months. and when I came back three days ago i was really surprised of what happened to the forum. there are so many threads that are inactive or even worse just full of spam.

who are the current moderators and where are they? (Just asking because it kind of seems like no moderator is ever online, well maybe Symos from time to time.)

i noticed that too. somewhere they are asking for more mods but really there's not much people you can choose from and who will be up for the job.

A clean sweep of deleting everything won't change a thing.

but is there anyway that you can delete those other threads that haven't been active for, say, a month or two? coz really they just take up space. and its very hard to find those other threads that have been going on for nearly/at least a year.

Unfortunately, spammers are everywhere on every forum so that´s something that won´t ever change but this site seems more or less to only have spammers...

as much as i love PCC, where almost all the spamming happens, i agreee with you.

I don't really have that many suggestions apart from deleting those inactive threads or those which have been locked. but i will vote for 'yes'...

Works been keeping me quite busy, ill try to get on more though, either way i like this idea, forums faster + less inactive registered people = Gewd :3

I do have some of the forums set up to automatically delete message after a certain number of days. I just reduced the Pointless Chit-Chat section to around 15 days, and some of the others to 30 days. I didn't want to do that for any of the anime-related forums, though, as old threads could still be a helpful source of information to some people.

you're right about just because you delete things... wont make things better.. you'll only make things worse if all you do is delete spam.. becasue it'll just double up because the people will get annoyed and spam some more...

i guess its just the topics that arent very interesting these days... so people turn to spam

and whats with all this underlining of words?
