anime translator

It's not nearly as complex as English, but as usual we find ways to screw it up.

Just a small point but, who are your group? Getting translators is decidely difficult for startup groups now, unless you have staff from a number of other groups that compose your new group.

Incidentally, I wonder why it is so many new groups are starting up to do new season animes, half of them don't even last. My take on fansubs now is simple: I'm doing what nobody else is doing from whatever time period that is. That way, set your own timelimits, maintain high quality and it's pretty satisfying to see the end result out the door.

If you want a translator and you're a startup group, I'd suggest selling yourselves a little.

To be honest, there are only a handful of people who know any Japanese on this forum, so this is really a bit of a lost cause, but hopefully you might find someone passing by who can help you out, but yeah, don't go expecting miracles

As for me, I 'm not sure my level of Japanese is high enough to be doing this kind of stuff, as I am only a first year student, and even if I did, I don't really have enough time to do it with essays due and exams all the time

But the best of luck to you, I'll see if any of my other Japanese speaking friends are interested

Most Japanese translators are interested only in groups that are doing a series that they like, and are relatively popular.
I seen 3 groups break up do to an insufficient amount of translators. Sad stuff.
