Never heard of Hana Yori Dango. What's it about?

It is a high school drama, which has 51 episodes. It is about Tsukushi Makino who is attending an elite high school, though she is not rich. She fell in love with one of the members of the F4 group. He didn't love her back since he was in love with another girl. On the other hand, another member of the group fell for her but she was always ignoring him and fighting with him. Anyway, at the end, she ended up with the Tsukasa, the one who always loved her. As for Rui Hanazawa, the one she loved, ended up with Shizuka, his all time lover.

I think it is a must for all anime fans and mostly for shojo fans. The manga is awesome, as well and has lots of things that didn't appear in the anime. Hana Yori Dango is one of my all time favorites. It is so realistic. I highly recommend it to you.

I do like realistic things. I just can't really get into a story unless the characters are somewhat realistic. One of the main reasons I like Furuba and Naruto is because of the characters. They have different personalities, problems, hopes, dreams, fears . . . you can really find someone to relate to.

I never watched Naruto since it didn't grab my attention and I think that all this hype over it is over-rated. I totally loved Fruits Basket, though. It is a shame that they didn't make a second season of it.

I think you should give Naruto a second chance. Some episodes are boring, but quite a few are very heartfelt. Like the episode in which Sasuke was leaving and Sakura tried hard to stop him. It was very sad. :(

Maybe I should but I am more into Shojo and slice-of-life anime. Have you seen the Piano? I haven't yet but maybe I will soon.

There are a couple of scenes in Naruto that seem shojo-esque . . . not that many, but a few. :heh:
Nope. I haven't seen lots of stuff. :heh:

Do you like to read/watch Yaoi? Are you a big fan?

I wouldn't say I'm a super-fan, but I do like it every now and then. I'm not exactly sure why. I just don't like super-explcit scenes. My friend is a yaoi fanatic and has tons, but I can't watch most of them without blushing. :heh:

I am not a big fan myself but I do read and watch some from time to time. Most of the scenes are so explicit and I cannot help but blush most of the time. :color: :heh:

The only ones I've really been into are Sukisho, Loveless, La Esperanca, and Yami no Matsuei, but those are more BL than yaoi. You can't even see anything in the single love scene in Sukisho. :heh: What's really funny is that the creator of Yami no Matsuei has stated several times that she doesn't like gay romance, but her work is considered BL. ^^;

I think you should add Gravitation to your Shounen-ai collection. I am totally in love with this anime.

The library has all the volumes, so I'm not really big on buying it. They're supposed to be gettting the anime soon. :D
