Yugi did beat Yami Yugi at the last episode

and surely Yami yugi will beat Kaiba...Now I'm all confused..XD

If the show was in real life; where we didn't have fancy holograms and 'mystic powers' - Yugi's deck would be far to complicated to win. He constantly has to draw the most precise card to win; and only does so by 'believing' in the heart of the cards.

Kaiba's is more beatdown and straight fowards, and requires less luck then Yugi's does.

As characters themselves; I say Kaiba 'pwnz'.
He has much more character depth in the duel monster series than Yugi does - as most of Yugi's screentime centers around Yami/Atem, while Kaiba gets whole episodes showing his past and such.
(Yugi owned everyone in character and in depth in the original series though - series 0)

So I'll be the first to say Kaiba; disregarding the actual show's premise.
(I'm going to get spammed at for this - but 'eh)
