Help Name This Series

Hi.
Im looking for the name of an anime series.
Three guys and a girl.
They have an insanely fast space ship.
The "main" guy has red armor (a far as i recall) and this staff thats awesome! (used to be huge, but after he twirled it around it shrunk?!)
Then theres a guy in blue armor, the wise one.
And a short fat one....think he was green.
Cant remember the name.
The three guys where supposed to escort the girl to some planet...think she was a princess.
Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like the anime show Monkey Magic i think thats it isnt?

sadly that isnt it. It a cartoon.
Alittle additional info:
The blue guy has some sort of harpoon that fires sime laser Sh..
And the green one has some sort of phone in his stomach so he can call the "mother-ship" when he needs to.

This is driving me crazy!
