Re: U.S. History / U.S. Government / Politics
XD That's probably all the further I'd get. Besides, you're older than me so you have the advantage there. And it turns out I turn 35 on an election year. But my birthday is in August so I have to wait for the NEXT one...
Re: U.S. History / U.S. Government / Politics
XD. Aw, I guess I'll have to wait for you

Uhm..is there been any luck with the biofuel thing?
Re: U.S. History / U.S. Government / Politics
Well, I've heard that California got it's first Hydrogen pump. But as for Ethanol, ethanol isn't going to work. The reason because ethanol is actually more harmful towards the environment, and there was another reason for it. I believe I read that from the report of the California Attorney General. Back when Bill Lockyer was the AG, he had commissioned a report on oil and the gas prices for the State of California. I've only had a chance to read just a few pages of it.

Ethanol is also a pain to make. I mean, really, just eat the frickin corn and come up with another source of fuel. Good thing is our farmer's market is going to do well this year! We can sell corn for cheap and make more!!
Re: U.S. History / U.S. Government / Politics
I'm still on the idea that we don't need an alternative fuel source. I have a hunch that OPEC and other oil companies are going to pull an Enron. Which makes me wonder, how regulated is the oil industry?

I think we do need an alternative fuel source. Just because the oil is going to be gone someday...
Hey! Weren't you a mod Athos?

I don't think though that Alt. fuel source needs to be a priority. Yeah. I was. I'm an Ex-Moderator now.

Why are you an ex-mod now? Pennyroyal Tea isn't a mod anymore either.
I think it should be a priority, but the war is probably more important too.

Eh, it's just that my personal problems seem to just be piling up. I had read somewhere about someone saying that a petition should be going around to keep my on the boards. Though, I don't remember where I saw it...It'll come back eventually. Though, I don't know if that person was kidding or not. PT changed his user group so he is still a moderator. However, I think his motivations are different from mine. Also, I think we should start picking current event books to read and discuss them here. I'll let you pick the titles.
