Lurking in the Shadows

Sasune had just finished up her work for the day. She had worked all morning without rest and was happy to be heading back home. She walked down a narrow road too tired to know where she was going when she saw a girl riding a bike in the distance.
Curiously, she followed her. When she stopped beside a bleeding boy, Sasune immediately ran towards them. "Is everything alright?" She asked, her question directed to no one in particular.

Kaden nodded his head. He felt fine, despite not noticing his right arm bleeding. His vision was going black. He struggled to get up, and when he got up, he fell back down and had a look on his face that said, 'What the hell just happened?' He closed his eyes for a moment, to rest for a few minutes and struggled to open them back up. HE tried to get up again and couldnt. He needed to get away from these people before they got injured.

A member of the Tenshi clan found Kadens blood trail. He followed it in the shadows of the trees. He found Kaden with two other people. He grinned. He came out of the shadows and held a dagger in one hand. "Kaden Nakamura, its time for you to die. You should have died with your clan long ago. And these people look like weaklings, so I can take my time with them. Now, DIE!" He lunged at Kaden pointed at Kaden.

Kaden managed to summon a small fire in his hand and threw it at the assassin. It didnt go far with Kaden being how exhausted as he was.

Arielle watched as he struggled to get up only to fall down again. She shook her head; he wasn't even close to okay.
"Stop trying to move, you're only going to make the bleeding-"she was interrupted when a man appeared, holding a dagger in his hand, grinning manically.
"Kaden Nakamura, its time for you to die. You should have died with your clan long ago. And these people look like weaklings, so I can take my time with them. Now, DIE!"
Arielle moved without thinking, whipping up a strong wind that carried the ball of flame Kaden had created straight towards the assassin's heart.
"WHAT THE HELL!?" she yelled, "What sort of person attacks a man whilst he's injured!?"

"I agree. you shouldn't move too much for now." Sasune said with a calm voice. She watched as Kaden had created the flame and Arielle striking the flame to the assasin's heart. She turned back seeing the exhausted Kaden, placing her hand over his injured arm. The wound began to shine bright as she slowly began to heal it.

Arielle, taking a deep breath to calm herself down lest the wind not stop, and turned back to Kaden and the girl, only to see the girl place her hands on his arm and the wound begin to glow.
"Whoa..." she whispered in awe as she watched in amazement, "I've never seen anyone do that before...what's your name? I'm Arielle."

Aki was in forest near a river seataaing there thinking about where to go and she was alone in the world that believes in her gift.


Ryin was walking in a park tired and confused about what to do fight for the good or for the bad...at times its fun to tease weaker people but, at the same time he doesn't like the poeple he does care for ....if people harm them he would be so angry and fight for them.


Angel was in a dark cave thinking on what to do to make more destruction to the world.

"Whoa..." she whispered in awe as she watched in amazement, "I've never seen anyone do that before...what's your name? I'm Arielle."

Sasune looked up at the girl introducing herself to her. "Sasune, you seem to have powers yourself" She simply said with a gentle tone as she continued to heal Kaden. The wound had closed but the inside still had to be healed.

Arielle nodded, "Yeah, as you saw, I can sort of control air and wind. And him too it seems, what did the man call him? Kaden Nakamura?"
Thinking about the assassin reminded Arielle that here probably wasn't the safest of places to stay. She looked around, but couldn't see any signs of life along the road, but then again that man had appeared out of the shadows. Looking up, she stared at the sky, wondering what they should do, when she saw a strange looking cloud in the sky, it seemed as though it was shaped like a wolf.
"Hey Sasune, is it just me or does that cloud not look like a cloud?" Arielle asked, more on guard now, after the attack.

Aki dove down seeing people and then realizes she never seen them ever and went up again high above. She was very high and wonder who they were. What side they were in.

Kaden started feeling better after a gust of wind died down. He looked down at Arielle in amazement. She had powers too! And on top of that it was healing abilities? And if he heard right, the other girl had abilities too. He may have finally found some people to help him. He reached in his bag and pulled out some paper that appeared to have words written on them. He needed to test these guys. There were some people who helped him, who in the end, were apart of the Sleeping Shadow group. That last town was a giant setup. Damn....he needed to sleep.....the last time he slept was like a few years ago. He didnt even knew if he knew how to sleep.
One said: "I'm Kaden"
Another stated a fact: "If I go to your town, it will end up being destroyed because I'm being chased by a group known as The Sleeping Shadow. Just give me the supplies I ask for and maybe your town will be spared of my curse."

The limp body of the assassin started to melt away in the shadows. Almost, as if it was being pulled in. Slowly, the body disappeared, as if it handt been there at all.

Kaden ignored the body disappearing. That was common for the bodies that he had killed in the past.

Sasune looked up at where Arielle had been looking. There really was a cloud shaped like a wolf. or was it really a wolf.
As she heard Kaden speak, she looked back down to him. "The Sleeping Shadow..." She repeated his words with a murmur. She knew this group. A member had killed her father.
She closed her eyes for a short second to hide her sorrow before opening her eyes again. "I see"
She bent down hesitating a little, before placing her hand on his head.
With the touch, she saw visions of his past events and the one that had happened just now.
Having enough, she let her hand apart from his head.
With a slow breath, she began to speak. "You should rest" She simply said as she stood up again. "Arielle, do you happen to have a place for him to rest in?" She asked trying to stay calm.

He felt strange as Sasune put her hand on his hand. He suddenly started to remember everything that had happened in his life. A few tears flowed from his eyes as all of his horrible memories returned to him at once. He looked up at Sasune and actually talked for the first time in years. His voice was shakey at best. "W-w-w-hat did you d-d-d-do?" If he did what he thought she did, well, he didnt know what was going to happen form here on out. He grinned. He might have found a few partners to help him with his goal.

Arielle watched as the assassin's body was pulled away into the shadows. She shivered, that was a little creepy. She looked back at Kaden and Sasune and quickly read what he had written.
'So his name IS Kaden...but who are 'The Sleeping Shadow'?' Arielle thought as she watched Sasune repeat the words in recognition, 'I guess she knows who they are...
She was startled when Sasune took her hand off his head and Kaden had tears flowing down his cheeks.
"I don't know what my parents would think if I brought an injured person home, though I doubt they'd object outright," Arielle replied, "But...what did you just do? Why is Kaden crying?"
