I first heard of it at a Science Fiction Convention in 1984. Didn't get into it until I was out of work a couple year ago. Bless Cowboy Bebop and Audlt Swim.

first anime was pokemon and dbz. i didnt know they were anime, i just watched it for the heck of it. then i watched inuyasha for the first time.

The first anime I ever saw was Urusei Yatsura, but that was way back in the 80's erly 90's, and I didn't even know what anime was. The first anime that actually got me into anime was Sailor Moon. The moment I saw this series, I never saw anime the same way again. I just got totally into it and I ended up moving on to other series.

when I was in 3rd grade I think Sailor moon and Pokemon then Yugioh!

Now i like inuyasha, trigun, kenshin, yu yu hakusho!

i remember my first anime was my neighbor totoro...that was way back when i was 3 or 4.i think.then it was,sailor moon,cardcaptor sakura and rurouni kenshin.

I heard it when my brother was watching Sailor Moon when we were young. After awhile, we never saw anime again until I stumbled onto Toonami and saw Tenchi Muyo. Eversince, I've been a anime fanatic.

First anime I saw was Pokemon when I was about five. The first time I actually heard of the term "anime" was when I was about ten though. I got hooked on anime when I was about eleven.

when i moved from the country into the city..i got wonderful extended cable..lol..i think it was Dragonball..when Gohan and Krillin were fighting (trying to) the Ginyu Force..i was like

"holy cow this cartoon is awesome! violent fighting!? SWEET!"
once i get a liking to something i absorb everything about it around me..lol...
