first anime ever watched??

First anime I've ever seen had to be My Neighbour Totoro, back when it was dubbed by Fox Family. I want to check out the Disney dub cause I heard Satsuki is voiced by Dakota Fannning.

Mine were Robotech and an old Japanese version of King Arthur (I can't remember the name of the series though?)
Maybe some of our more knowledgeable anime fans can enlighten me on this?
It was around 1983-5
