Why do they make alchemy seem so exciting? Unless you really have magical powers (and that wouldn't really be considered alchemy), the alchemy they describe is impossible to perform. Alchemy, which is just basic science, would dbe mixing chloride and soduim to make salt. And the Philosipher's Stone is over-exaggerated, too.

b/c Al didnt see the gate.. his body was taken by the gate though.. the reason Ed saw it was b/c he traded his arm to the gate in exchange for his brothers soul.. then he used his leg to attach Al's soul to its new body.. it might have been the other way around with the body parts though.. lmfao!

im sry but i have to correct you. ed lost his left leg to try to get his mother back while al lost his whole body. Then, ed lost his arm to trap his brothers soul in the suit of armor before he died completely. also, the alchemy works and thier mother was brought back very briefly, but she was all messed up like those human-animal chimeras,
