Wolfwood's death was very unexpected for me. He's my fave character in Trigun, so to see him go was a shocker. Damn!

I still maintain that Rosette and Chrono's simultaneous deaths were very depressing. Not a good idea to watch the end before a major exam... oy... but their last moment together was so fitting.

Gah... it's depressing, now...

And yes, Ed dies in the anime. Twice. Once when he was in the alter!world (i.e. our world) and once when he got back and Envy revealed his "true face" which shocked him so much that gave Envy the chance to skewer him. He's revived by Al, though.
