they didn't have hikaru go with haruhi and they didn't even make it so that she went with tamaki well... not really
but i guess the ending with what tamaki's and kyouya's dads say is really funny. but still. *sniff*

Well they can't really make her go with anyone as in the Manga she hasn't gotten with anyone else yet so they can't put her with Tamaki and then wups the manga finishes and she gets with some one else

I think the ending was very good to say that the Manga hasn't been finished yet and who knows maybe a second series will be let out and then for the people who haven't seen the Manga you can get to see who she gets with ^_^

Though to see Hunny and Mori is enough i love them there funny

yea, i see what you're saying but
in Angelic Layer they have that happen. Like in the anime, Misaki goes with Ohjirou and Kotaru goes with Tamayo, but in the manga she goes with Kotaru and Tamayo goes with Ohjirou.
so therefore they don't HAVE to have it where the anime and manga have the same ending.
