Basically Japanese comic books. However most are read from right to left insted of the standard western left to right.

It's not that hard to get used to but you can start with left-2-right mangas if you want

With practice. If it helps, here is a page that tells you how to read manga. It is a scan from one of my Battle Royale mangas.

I quickly adapted to the right-to-left reading. Right in the first manga I even read to. So, I'm overly used to it and such.
