He's one of my favorite characters I even based a character off of him for my manga!

I love his past.. It’s so sad, and has so much trauma in it. It's very interesting to me how such a traumatic event can lead to his child-self to become locked. You can only wonder what he's actually thinking 0.o ! But he is a very inspirational character and a wonderful fighter!

Okita Soujirou aka Okita Souji, Leader of Shinshengumi Squad One, really lived in real life.
Watsuki put like a 2on1 in rurouni kenshin... show us Okita Souji (most of the times whit Hajime Saito) and then in shishio arc he make a carachter based on Okita Souji... and from this is were Seta Soujirou come from.

btw... Soujirou is my favorite character

Soujirou, he almost won agenst Kenshin in that fight but he didn't cut deep enough thogh Kenshin even on his death bed wouldn't go down with out that win!!!
