Description: Tide-Line Blue
From the creator of Blue Submarine No. 6 comes another aquatic post-apocalyptic tale called "Tide-Line Blue". In this story, the world has been ravaged and mankind is close to a watery grave due to an ecological catastrophe known as the "Hammer of Eden." As a result of this event, 90% of Earth's land has been flooded, resulting in the death of 6 billion people. A new government called the New United Nations was formed in order to restore order to this now chaotic world.
The story is about a young boy named Keel, who lives in a prosperous town powered by a nuclear generator. Aoi, one of Keel's relatives, is the Secretary General of the New United Nations. She views the catastrophe as an opportunity to finally unite the world in peace, free of any social conflict. However, a submarine captain named Gould and his rogue crew of the nuclear submarine Ulysses, wishes to unite the world by pure military force, and declares war on the New United Nations.
