I have actually watched all 3 of the anime series, read the manga, and played all of the video games.

The series definitely is an interesting one, and often times a confusing one as well. For the most part its not too difficult to understand, but sometimes it leaves you wondering.

Anyways, if you haven't seen this series yet, you should definitely go and see it. There are several series in the .hack seris. There is .hack//sign, .hack//legend of the twilight, .hack//liminality, .hack//gift, and the 4 .hack games. There are more too, but they have not been released here in america so I chose not to mention them.
