I'm not sure if it's worth starting a new topic for but I was completely unsatisfied with EoE. The portrayal of Shinji was sickening. I mean he was weak but all references to his "Thing that he does" was ridiculous. It was apparent in NGE that he did sometimes give in (Ep.10) but not quite on that level in that situation. In any case Auska seems to hate him for first seeking her help and his sulking over her at the very end. The reason form what I derived is that he seeks sympathy from others. So I submit that Auska too is guilty of seeking sympathy when she constantly shuts others out. So she is what she hates.
More or less I don't actually hate EoE or the last episodes of EGE but rather viewing them as extensions of the rest of EGE disturbs me. The characters become to anlytical of themselves and in doing o they eventually destroy the same chaacter I have come to like.
