fake anime

I was listening to the news this morning while doing other stuff and I overheard that Nickelodeon is boasting that they have created the first ever AMERICAN ANIME?! This is alarming to me for two reasons
1.Nickelodeon is/was responsible for Avatar the last airbender (disgrace even as a fake anime)
2.Does this mean there will be other fake animes?

Well, "anime" translates to "animation" more of less on the subject, but Americanized ones are kinda.......hm....

Eh, they might say they've created the first ever made one, I highly doubt that's even right. There's a lot more copy-cats or cartoons that derived from anime antics than what they might be attempting.

To answer your question about the fake animes, yeah. There'll probably be more that's going to be dished out on television.

At least they're...trying?

You can tell already that they're running out of ideas.

*Clears throat* Yes, the americans can't compete against the story plots and styles of japanese anime, its just...like...they can't beat the original anime makers....

I don't know how they can say that, they're far form the first. Even well before the first, there were plenty of times where the US teamed up with Japan.

Anime is from Japan, what they made isn't anime.

Another thing, why care about what the news says?

I don't care about the news so much but...

I know I probably shouldn't, but I realy don't like American manga and anime, it's just not the same, I know people say that some American manga and anime is really good, and it probably is, it's just not for me, it doesn't have the same feel to it

People say there is no difference, but I can tell
