Protesting gay and bisexual relationships

Post by simplysweetandsexii »

I swear the U.S is supposed to be a free country right?? WRONG!!! the USA does not give you all the freedoms that people think it does. For eaxmple i am so sick of them protesting against gay and bi relationships when we have more important things to be worried about what and who people love and do should not matter and people should minded there own buissness if they don't like it they don't have to but they should respect them.We are all human and it shouldn't matter who we love or like!! :color:  :color: :D I SUPPORT THE GAY COMMUNITY!!!!

people should be allowed to love as they see fit.

now with that said...

people have the right to protest anything they don't think right. its called the freedom of speech, so thats why homosexuals are allowed to have two parades each year in they're honor, and thats why protestors can go to said parade, as long as they are non-violent.

to tell these people not to protest is to take away they're rights, making you as bad or worse than them.

Oh, I just love it how anyone who truly does not agree with gay rights is automatically a homophobe. Homophobe, which implies hate and fear, when in reality, most people just don't think that it is a healthy lifestyle and oppose the legal and financial complications that gay marriage would cause.

And for the thread starter. Get off your damn high horse. Gay people have the exact same rights that straight people do. Don't believe me? Well then, can a straight man marry another man? No. See, EQUALITY. A gay man has every right to get married and can marry any woman that he pleases. Just like a straight man can.

You see, marriage is not an inaliable right in the Constitution. You can't protest if someone chooses not to get married to you. And you can't sue just because your sexual fetish doesn't fall under the legal implications of marriage.

Gay people are not black people being racially discriminated against. They are not Mexicans being forced out of the country. They are however, in many ways like a retarded fellow. You see, recent studies have shown that sexual orientation to the same gender is most likely caused by chemical imbalances in the brain's hypothalamus. (many homosexuals say that they are born that way, which also points to this idea being true) Much like how chemical imbalances in a mentally challenged person's brain can cause retardation of some of their perceptions. Now, do we give mentally challenged people high-ranking jobs because they should be treated equal and given the exact same opportunities as everyone else? Of course not.

My point: Just because someone has a weird sexual fetish caused by a hormone imbalance does NOT mean that the American people should have to change their definition of what a marriage is. We are not stopping gay people from being together. Nobody is making it illegal for people to be gay together. They should be grateful for that. It could be a hell of a lot worse. Maybe they should try being gay in Saudi Arabia. Then let's see if they still want to complain after coming back to America (assuming they come back alive).

so your saying that gays are not discriminated against... are you gay? have you witnessed every gay in the world do something? You wouldnt know unless you were gay and my assumtion is that your not. i think that gays should be aloud to do w/e the hell they want. just like other citizens! gays dont really get the same rights. african americans dont realy either. nor do women get the same job payments all the time. they have to work twice as hard.

Hey guess what! They can.

There are no laws specifically discriminating against gay people. Marriage has always been for a man and a woman and was not defined that way to keep gays from getting married, because homosexuality wasn't even an issue back then.

Discrimination against gay people is not legal. Just like it's not legal to discriminate against a black person. Of course, some employers may do it anyway, but the point is that the legal system does not view that kind of discrimination as being acceptable. And yet, the federal government does not view gay marriage as legal. Why is that? Oh, I know, because IT'S NOT DISCRIMINATION!

Gee whiz missy, I wish I could support the gay community and be as righteous and kind as you are. Tell me, when is the next time you will be marching in a gay rights parade, or righting letters to Congress or your state governor? I'd so much love to help. :o

I should respect them? Respect has to be earned. Real respect isn't some lesson that kindergarten teachers hand out to their class so nobody will cry.
Why should anyone respect people who don't know when they're NOT being oppressed and yet [censored] and moan about it anyway? People who think they are morally superior because supporting any kind of love is the "progressive way to go"? People who call anyone who doesn't agree with them a homophobe, because they can't come up with any decent defensive argument on their part?

Screw that.

Are you trying to sarcastically imply that in reality I really don't know what I am talking about? Just wanted to make sure. Because unless you are going to include some kind of relevant defensive statement with that comment, you are essentially admitting that I am right and you are wrong.

That's a pretty clever way to avoid admitting that you lost and can't truly argue for what you believe in. Fine job my man. It doesn't matter if this is a "cyber argument". Because this demonstrates that in a "real life" situation, you will fail to do the same, just like you did here.

Listen up class. You'll notice how the subject tries to dismiss the matter as nothing important, only after he has been defeated. A common defense mechanism amongst incompetant children. By doing so, he does not have to face the reality that he has no real defense for his beliefs, and that when confronted about them in real life, will have no way for making a valid point for the people he claims to support.

That's all for today.
